Currently we are seeking an Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This role involves securing, assessing, and hardening information systems to support the ATO effort.

An active Secret Security Clearance and Security+ is required.

The work location is Washington, DC.

ROLE:

• Support IT network systems through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO).

• Apply DISA-approved STIGs to servers and networked systems.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS, SCAP, and STIG Benchmarks.

• Install OS and security updates in compliance with DoD and DISA standards.

• Generate, track, and help resolve POA&Ms.

Required Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance (TS preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) with 6 years of industry experience.
• Experience in systems administration.
• At least one certification such as Security+, CCNA Security, or CySA+
• Experience with ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker, and DISA STIGs.
• Ability to identify and correct system flaws or misconfigurations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CCRI, CORA, or other DoD Cyber Readiness Assessments.
• Experience supporting RMF packages, writing SSPs and POA&Ms, and facilitating ATO processes.
• Knowledge of HBSS, SIEM tools, and network monitoring.
