Job summary

TEEMA is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer II to support and enhance Operations Center capabilities through hands-on operations and research-driven innovation. This role blends incident response expertise with forward-looking security engineering to strengthen cyber defenses.

You will monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, lead containment and remediation efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable security improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering/operations and 4+ years in incident response.
• Active or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/IT/CS or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and threats in daily SOC operations.
• Lead and contribute to incident response efforts including containment and remediation.
• Develop and improve security tools, processes, and best practices to proactively mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and produce reports, analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
