Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a Cyber Security Architect in Chantilly, VA, with TS/SCI + Poly clearance. You will design and implement upgrades to a high-performance testing network, integrating hardware, software, and cloud workloads while aligning with enterprise security standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to translate complex architectures into production-ready solutions and to support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring across on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Minimum 4 years in network engineering or systems/infrastructure operations.
• Experience building automation and configuration management with Terraform, Ansible or Python.
• Experience deploying workloads on AWS or Azure and Linux systems.
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infra monitoring.
• Proficient in deep troubleshooting using packet captures and centralized logs.
• Ability to translate high-level designs into production-ready implementations.
• Ability to collaborate with Agile teams and enforce standards.

Job description

GRVTY is seeking a Cyber Security Architect with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. The Sponsor provides a high-performance testing network consisting of virtual images,software libraries, and DevOps applications services in support of manual and automated testing for its user base. TheSponsor needs to upgrade this testing network and is seeking help to design and implement said network including allhardware and software

What You Must Have

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• 4+ years’ experience in networkengineering, systems engineering, orinfrastructure operations, with a strongemphasis on enterprise networkingconcepts (routing, switching, subnets,firewalls, and segmentation)
• Experience developing automation andconfiguration management solutions usingtools such as Terraform, Ansible, orPython.
• Experience deploying, managing, and maintaining workloads across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and Linux operating systems.
• Experience supporting and integratingCI/CD pipelines, automated testing, andinfrastructure monitoring tools.
• Experience performing deep-divetroubleshooting across complex, multi-tiered systems using network packetcaptures (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) andcentralized log analysis.
• Ability to interpret high-level, strategicarchitectural designs and translate theminto standardized, production-readytechnical implementations with minimalday-to-day oversight.
• Ability to collaborate effectively withincross-functional Agile teams whileenforcing architectural standards,configuration consistency, anddocumentation baselines.

What Would be Nice to Have

• Experience with containerorchestration and microservicesarchitecture (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Zero-TrustArchitecture (ZTA) and defensive cyberoperations principles.
• Ability to identify and remediateconfiguration drift across hybrid cloud andon-premises footprints.
• Industry certifications such as:
• a. CCNA/CCNP
• b. AWS Solutions Architect
• c. AWS SysOps Administrator
• d. Red Hat Systems Administrator
