Cyber Security Analyst with Security Clearance

We are currently seeking a motivated, career-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Springfield, VA.

Clearance

TS/SCI (CI Poly)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and high-level CSOC Security Support by managing cyber and network sensor activity.
• Perform security event and incident correlation using information from various enterprise sources.
• Conduct cyber incident triage, assessing scope, urgency, impact, and recommending remediation steps.
• Track cyber actions from detection to resolution.
• Analyze and assess damage to data and infrastructure.
• Perform trend analysis and reporting on cyber engineering activities.

Hours

24x7 Shift Work (Panama Shift Schedule; hours depend on location: Sun–Wed 2PM–12AM for 2nd shift)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of additional experience in a cyber role.
• 3+ years of experience in a cyber role.
• CNDSP–IR certification (GCIH, CSIH, or CEH) required.
• IAT Level II certification (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA–Security) required.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies.
• Knowledge of database and operating system security.
• Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and coordinating resources.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with senior management.
• Decision-making and problem-solving abilities, including data evaluation and prioritization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment.
• Experience with COTS technologies used in Cybersecurity Engineering.
