Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to analyze, document, and manage cybersecurity risks across systems. The role requires proactivity, learning core technologies, and applying industry best practices to investigate, remediate, and escalate when needed.

You will collaborate with security and technology teams to document risks, support threat hunting, and participate in tabletop exercises while maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 6 years information security/IT experience.
• Two security certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months (e.g., Network+/Security+/CySA+).
• Willingness to work pre-determined shifts and rotational on-call.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and respond to cyber threats using documented procedures.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security/Technology stakeholders to document security risks.
• Proactively support remediation and improve analysis accuracy.
• Review Policies, Standards, and Procedures to improve processes.
• Assist with threat hunting, tabletop exercises, and incident response on rotation.
• Maintain meticulous records including root cause analysis and IOC timelines.
