Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Cyber Security Analyst Mid for a 24+ months contract located onsite in Bethesda, MD.

The position requires 5+ years of experience in cyber security, with specific expertise in Splunk or CyberArk. You will monitor security systems, perform assessments, implement policies, and train staff while collaborating with IT and security teams to strengthen defenses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Splunk or CyberArk space.
• 5+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring security systems and logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assisting in the investigation of security breaches or incidents.
• Deploying and managing security technologies such as firewalls, IDS, and antivirus software.
• Providing guidance and support to junior security analysts.
• Collaborating with other IT and security teams to enhance security posture.
• Keeping up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Conducting security awareness training for employees.
• Participating in incident response and recovery efforts.

Immediate need for a talented Cyber Security Analyst Mid

This is a 24+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Bethesda, MD (Onsite).

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Exp in yrs should be 5+ yrs minimum in the Splunk or CyberArk space
• Mid-Level - should have 5+ years exp in Cyber Security Analyst space
