The position supports a consistent Sunday-Thursday night schedule (9:30 PM–7:30 AM ET) and provides a clear path to Cyber Security Analyst II and beyond. Compensation starts at $25 per hour, reflecting entry-level growth in security operations.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years IT or cybersecurity experience.
• Basic understanding of Windows, networking, and common cyber threats.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management is a plus.
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and triage cybersecurity alerts across client environments.
• Investigate suspicious activity and elevate potential threats.
• Support incident response activities and security investigations.
• Review phishing, spam, and other email security concerns.
• Assist with endpoint security, patching validation, and remediation tracking.
• Document findings and maintain accurate security tickets.
• Follow established security procedures, playbooks, and escalation paths.
• Collaborate with team members during shift handoffs and ongoing investigations.
