Job summary

Amicis Global in White Plains, NY, is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst for a 12-month assignment. You will support processing cyber security requests, troubleshoot and maintain the security posture across related components, with hybrid on-site work.

Responsibilities include implementing firewall and zero trust policies, monitoring logs, ensuring policy alignment with compliance, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with IT teams to mitigate incidents.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in cyber security.
• Proficiency with firewall platforms (e.g., Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Proficiency with zero-trust security tools (e.g. Zscaler).
• Familiarity with endpoint protection tools (e.g., Crowdstrike, Windows Defender).
• Familiarity with Splunk.
• Cyber security certifications preferred (e.g. CCSP, CySA+, Splunk).
• Candidates must be local to the Tri-State area and in W2 tax status as hourly paid employee.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper implementation of firewall and zero trust policies and rules.
• Continuously monitor firewall and VPN logs and alerts for suspicious activity.
• Ensure firewall and zero trust policies align with compliance standards.
• Diagnose and resolve firewall or zero trust related issues.
• Coordinate with network and IT teams to address security incidents.
• Work with cybersecurity professionals, network engineers, and IT staff to implement security measures.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture.
