Mission

The Cyber Security Operations Center Analyst (or Engineer) is responsible for conducting all Cyber Security Incident investigations at various organizational levels. They facilitate the identification, analysis, and containment of cyber security incidents, making first responder security decisions related to IT and business impact within their scope.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis using tools such as IDS/IPS, firewalls, HBSS, etc.
  2. Correlate network activity to identify unauthorized use trends.
  3. Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities to aid incident identification.
  4. Analyze monitoring results, assess and correlate outputs, conduct triage, classification, and analysis of events, and log incidents following risk management processes.
  5. Provide proactive feedback to improve monitoring rules based on experience and industry best practices.
  6. Work independently and collaborate with business and IT teams within security policies.
  7. Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members.
  8. Drive innovative solutions to problems and risk minimization.
  9. Apply consultative skills and work cross-functionally.
  10. Remain focused and results-oriented.
  11. React quickly and decisively in high-stress situations.
  12. Make strong decisions by weighing costs and benefits to determine the best course of action.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or related.
  2. Incident Response experience, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and managing cyber outbreaks.
  3. Experience with Security Event Monitoring and Analysis, including log analysis and SIEM tools like Chronicle and Splunk.
  4. Forensics analysis experience (malware, memory, network, host).
  5. Desirable certifications: SANS, GIAC, Blue Team levels, CCD.
  6. Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  7. Availability to work in shifts.
  8. Valid documentation to work in Brazil.
