Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support ongoing contracts requiring cyber security oversight in the Englewood, CO office. The role focuses on reviewing client requirements, developing security plans, and supporting audits within a small IT/Cyber/Safety team.

Candidates should have experience with NIST 800-171, regulatory documents, and technical writing. 3 days in office weekly; salary range $110K-$130K annually, plus benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review client requirements per contract, including all referenced compliance documents.
• Provide suggested solutions for project compliance and documentation.
• Reconcile client requirements with corporate compliance.
• Develop security plan drafts, training documentation.
• Review and comment on policies, procedures, and guides related to cyber security compliance.
• Prepare projects for security audits and support client audits.
• Assist with related management assessments.
• Identify compliance gaps and mitigate risks.
• Assist with spill investigation and lessons learned reporting.
• Provide backup desktop support and future facility move support.
• Access Control support for databases and documentation with SQL, VBA, Java, and app integrations.

We are currently seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support our ongoing contracts requiring cyber security oversight and support in the Amentum Englewood Office.

Job Description - (Duties & Responsibilities)

Work within a small IT/Cyber/Safety team

• Review client requirements per contract
  • Including all referenced compliance documents
• Provide suggested solutions for project compliance and documentation
• Reconcile client requirements with corporate compliance
• Develop security plan drafts, training documentation
• Review and comment of other developed plans/guides/policies/procedures related to cyber security compliance functions
• Prepare projects for security audits and provide support for client audits
• Assist with related management assessments
• Actively look for requirements compliance gaps
• Assist with spill investigation, mitigation, Lessons Learned development and reporting as required for assigned contract(s)
• Backup local Desktop support as needed
• Provide future facility move support
• Access Control support for client Databases, platforms and assist in creating user manuals, troubleshooting utilizing SQL, VBA, Java, App Integration and plug ins when necessary
• Prepare documentation and support for Business-2-Business (B2B) requests
• Attend and participate in relevant meetings
• Use available tools to submit appropriate documentation, reporting, and resolution of issues and processes such as ticketing systems
• Support the Security ITPM and provide backup coverage
• Use Artificial Intelligence platforms when appropriate

Required Qualifications

Experience with NIST 800-171 requirements and implementation

Government regulatory orders, manuals, and requirements documents

Technical writing and documentation of implementation processes.

Cyber Risk evaluation and incident investigations.

Assumes only an internal candidate and excludes anyone else.

Preferred Qualifications

Optimal and friendly customer service for end users and potential interaction with clients.

Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently

Provide frequent status communications

Experience with MicroSoft ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing system

Education

Bachelors in Computer Related fields or equivalent experience

Security + certification or GIAC Security Fundamentals

Physical Requirements (if any)

Occasional lifting of PC towers, servers, monitors, supply boxes.

Other requirements

COMPENSATION

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110K -130K (Annually) (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
