Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Cyber Security and AI Intern to support the Lifecycle Services team in Cleveland, OH. You will assist analysts in monitoring security alerts, triaging incidents, and documenting findings while helping to automate repetitive tasks using Python and APIs.

You will contribute to incident response workflows, document SOPs and SOC runbooks, and help design AI-driven use cases (GenAI, AIOps) with a focus on practical customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
• GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or higher.
• Demonstrated desire to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Experience using AI to automate processes and data analysis (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist analysts in monitoring security alerts, triaging incidents, and documenting findings.
• Support incident response workflows (ticket creation, enrichment, and escalation tracking).
• Help document SOPs and SOC runbooks.
• Identify repetitive tasks suitable for automation (e.g., alert triage, ticket summarization).
• Contribute to the design and testing of AI-driven use cases (GenAI, AIOps, SecOps).
• Analyze SOC data (alerts, logs, incidents) to identify patterns and anomalies.
