The opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This includes working with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services assist clients in aligning security strategies with business goals, managing access, and enforcing policies. We collaborate with third-party vendors to provide comprehensive services, including strategy, assessment, testing, and deployment of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to safeguard our network infrastructure.
2. Monitor and adjust security configurations for Zscaler services.
3. Perform regular security assessments and audits.
4. Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
5. Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
6. Implement and oversee security policies within Zscaler.
7. Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
8. Provide Zscaler security best practices training to internal teams.
9. Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and threats.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Deep understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience in configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
• Ability to implement security controls and principles.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security.
• Proficiency with Zscaler solutions and network security tools.
• Knowledge of compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications like Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in Zscaler and cloud security technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash.
