The opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This includes working with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business goals by managing access and enforcing policies. We collaborate with third-party vendors to offer services including strategy, assessment, testing, and deployment of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions for our network infrastructure.
• Monitor and configure Zscaler services to ensure optimal security.
• Conduct security assessments and audits of network environments.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
• Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
• Implement and manage security policies within Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Provide training on Zscaler security best practices.
• Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and threats.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience in configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
• Ability to implement security controls in network environments.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security or similar roles.
• Deep knowledge of Zscaler solutions and features.
• Experience with network security tools and standards.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications like Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
• Experience with additional cloud security tools and platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge of Zscaler architecture, deployment, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
