The Opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions, collaborating with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and managing security incidents.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to safeguard network infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize security configurations for Zscaler services.
• Perform regular security assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
• Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Provide training and guidance on Zscaler security best practices.
• Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
• Ability to implement security controls and manage network security principles.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of Zscaler solutions and network security tools.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional, CISSP) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler and cloud security technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation.
