The opportunity

The Zscaler Engineer Senior will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business objectives, managing access and enforcing policies. Supported by strategic alliances with third-party vendors, our professionals offer services including strategy, assessment, testing, and deployment of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect network infrastructure.
2. Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
3. Conduct security assessments and audits of network environments.
4. Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
5. Respond to and investigate security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
6. Implement and manage security policies within the Zscaler platform.
7. Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
8. Provide training on Zscaler security best practices.
9. Stay updated on Zscaler security trends, threats, and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
• Ability to implement security controls in network environments.
• Understanding of network security principles.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective documentation skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security.
• Strong knowledge of Zscaler solutions and network security tools.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler and knowledge of additional cloud security tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Zscaler architecture and deployment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash.
