The opportunity

The Zscaler Engineer Senior will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This includes collaborating with teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business objectives, managing access and enforcing policies. We partner with third-party vendors to provide comprehensive services including strategy, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions.
2. Monitor and configure Zscaler services.
3. Conduct security assessments and audits.
4. Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment.
5. Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler.
6. Implement security policies within Zscaler.
7. Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
8. Train teams on Zscaler security best practices.
9. Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Understanding of Zscaler solutions like ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security standards and best practices.
• Ability to implement security controls.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security.
• Proficiency with Zscaler solutions and security tools.

• Strong understanding of network security, IAM, encryption.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler and familiarity with cloud security tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge of Zscaler architecture and scripting skills.
