The opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business goals, managing access and enforcing policies. We work with strategic vendors to offer services including strategy, assessment, testing, and deployment of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to safeguard our network infrastructure.
• Monitor and adjust security configurations for Zscaler services.
• Perform regular security assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents involving Zscaler.
• Implement and oversee security policies within Zscaler platform.
• Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Provide training and guidance on Zscaler security best practices.
• Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
• Experience in configuring and managing Zscaler services.
• Knowledge of network security standards and best practices.
• Ability to implement security controls and principles.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security roles.
• Proficiency with Zscaler solutions and security tools.
• Knowledge of compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
• Understanding of network security, IAM, and encryption.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP), CISSP are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler, such as Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
• Experience with additional cloud security tools (CSPM, Data Protection, AI).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of Zscaler architecture and deployment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash.
