The opportunity

The Zscaler Engineer Senior will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security management with business goals by managing access and enforcing policies, supported by strategic alliances with third-party vendors. Our services include strategy, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions.
2. Monitor and manage security configurations for Zscaler services.
3. Conduct security assessments and audits.
4. Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment.
5. Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
6. Implement and manage security policies within Zscaler.
7. Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
8. Provide guidance and training on Zscaler security best practices.
9. Stay updated on Zscaler security trends and technologies.

Skills and Attributes for Success

1. Solid understanding of Zscaler solutions, including ZIA and ZPA.
2. Proficiency in configuring and managing Zscaler services.
3. Knowledge of network security practices and standards.
4. Ability to implement security controls.
5. Understanding of network security principles.
6. Experience with firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in network security.
• Strong knowledge of Zscaler solutions.
• Experience with network security tools and standards.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional, CISSP) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in Zscaler, such as Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
• Experience with cloud security technologies and platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Zscaler architecture and deployment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
