The Opportunity

We seek an experienced Vulnerability Management (VM) Cyber Managed Services Senior to design, implement, and manage our vulnerability management services. You will work with cybersecurity professionals to create tailored solutions that address client needs, combining technical expertise with business risk understanding.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships by understanding client concerns and needs, building a supportive network.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity and client business.
• Assist in evaluating and improving client vulnerability management programs.
• Own portions of vulnerability management solutions tailored to client environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and evaluate controls.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, CIS, PCI DSS, NIST, ITIL, COBIT.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and cloud-based OS.
• Operational experience with tools like Qualys, Nexpose, including deployment and configuration.
• Ability to evaluate tools and assist in vendor selection.
• Skills in root cause analysis and technical solution development.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability management, incident response, and governance.
• Project management skills, including developing plans and status updates.
• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerBi for metrics development.
• Knowledge of web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), cloud security, and threat intelligence.
• Familiarity with CVE, CWE frameworks, and vulnerability prioritization methods.
• Ability to create meaningful metrics for technical and executive audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or graduate degree with 1-2 years of experience.
• Hands-on vulnerability management experience.
• Experience serving diverse industries and client challenges.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management and technical teams.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid US driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence decisions.
• Prior consulting experience (preferred).
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are a plus.
