We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Management (VM) Cyber Managed Services Senior to join our team, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing vulnerability management services. The role involves creating tailored solutions for clients to deploy effective vulnerability programs, combining technical expertise with business risk understanding.

The Opportunity

Join EY as a Vulnerability Management Senior, leveraging your background in vulnerability tools and cybersecurity teamwork to deliver impactful solutions for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop relationships and understand client concerns and needs.
  2. Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
  3. Stay updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity.
  4. Assist in evaluating and improving client vulnerability management programs.
  5. Own parts of vulnerability management solutions tailored to client environments.
  6. Conduct vulnerability assessments and identify control weaknesses.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  1. Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, CIS, PCI DSS, NIST, ITIL, COBIT.
  2. Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and cloud OS.
  3. Hands-on experience with vulnerability tools (e.g., Qualys, Nexpose).
  4. Ability to evaluate tools and assist vendor selection.
  5. Skills in root cause analysis and technical solutions.
  6. Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance.
  7. Project management skills and scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  8. Proficiency with Excel and PowerBi for metrics development.
  9. Familiarity with security vulnerabilities, web vulnerabilities, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
  10. Knowledge of CVE and CWE frameworks.
  11. Ability to develop metrics for technical and executive audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 1-2 years.
  2. Experience in vulnerability management with hands-on tool use.
  3. Client-facing vulnerability management experience across industries.
  4. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Willingness to travel and valid US driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Interpersonal and presentation skills.
  2. Ability to analyze issues strategically and technically.
  3. Experience in consulting (preferred).
  4. Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, CEH, or GSEC (a plus).
