This position involves managing and optimizing Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office platforms, focusing on data governance, compliance, and security best practices. Key Responsibilities:

1. Platform Administration: Support and optimize Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office, configure security settings, and manage policies.
2. Data Governance and Compliance: Implement policies to ensure regulatory compliance, monitor metrics, and manage data classification and DLP.
3. User Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Work with IT, security, and compliance teams; report on incidents and metrics.
5. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on platform features, identify process improvements, and automate activities with scripting.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation and generate performance and compliance reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
