We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office Operations Engineer responsible for administration, management, and optimization of these platforms. The role requires expertise in data governance, compliance, and security, along with collaboration across teams to improve our information protection.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Platform Administration: Support and optimize Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office, managing security settings, policies, and compliance features.
2. Data Governance and Compliance: Implement and monitor data governance policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and organizational standards.
3. User Support: Provide technical assistance and best practices to end-users.
4. Collaboration and Communication: Work with IT, security, and compliance teams; report on incidents and metrics.
5. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on platform features, automate processes with scripting, and identify improvements.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation and generate performance and compliance reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and Defender for Office.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and scripting skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow and relevant certifications is a plus.
