Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Information Security Risk Specialist, Mid, to translate cyber threats into actionable plans for Department of War organizations. You will work with DoW leaders, review technical data, and develop mitigation plans while guiding milestones and roadmaps to secure mission-critical networks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with IT operations or cybersecurity
• Experience in a cybersecurity compliance, operations, or engineering leadership role
• Experience with supporting cybersecurity compliance, audits, or inspections
• Ability to work with senior leaders including CISO, CIO, and CTO
• Ability to author technical documentation and whitepapers
• TS/SCI clearance and HS diploma or GED
• Information Security Certification such as CEH, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, or Security+

Responsibilities

• Identify cyber risks with DoW leaders and assess threat landscape
• Review technical details from subject matter experts for risk assessments
• Develop and present action plans, milestones, and white papers for client decisions
• Translate security concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives to align with policy requirements
