Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns attend development workshops, are mentored, and work on meaningful projects across several tracks including Analytics, IT, Finance, Marketing, Project Management, and more.

Interns will gain exposure to corporate environments, deliver presentations at project completion, and maintain confidentiality while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Desired majors include Computing Sciences & Information Technology or related programs.
• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program and in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to interact with staff at all levels.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support advancing Cyber Risk Management through creativity and development of Risk Indicators, early warning indicators and cyber maturity.
• Work with a mentor and supports key strategic projects.
• Completes work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
• Performs a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks that will cover a broad range of business-related projects.
• Creates and delivers presentations at completion of internship.
• Maintains confidentiality and protection of member privacy in accordance with company policies.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
