Job summary

Excellus BCBS is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world experience. Interns work on meaningful projects across tracks such as Analytics, IT, Risk Management, and more, mentored by managers and exposed to development workshops.

The program runs from June to August (up to 40 hours/week). Housing is not provided, and interns may be placed in either technical or non-technical areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time program.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration across departments.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support advancing Cyber Risk Management through development of Risk Indicators and early warning indicators.
• Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
• Complete work assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Perform a mix of technical and non-technical tasks across projects.
• Create and deliver presentations upon internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy per policies.
• Attend development workshops and participate in track activities as assigned.
