Job summary

Ursa Major seeks a Cybersecurity Administrator II to lead the organization's cybersecurity strategy focused on CUI risk mitigation. You will guide risk assessments, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, FISMA, and FedRAMP across sensitive data flows.

The role requires coordinating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to protect critical information and maintain audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of cybersecurity experience with emphasis on risk management and federal data protection.
• Master’s degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s with 3-5 years of experience accepted.
• Regulatory expertise in NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, FISMA, and FedRAMP; strong certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cybersecurity risk management and CUI/FCI protection.
• Lead the implementation of security policies to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
• Manage security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) and drive incident response readiness.
