Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Range Network Engineer to join our Intel Sector team, guiding design, implementation and delivery of cyber training systems. You will support large-scale cyber exercises, provide network administration across enterprise networks, and collaborate with cyber operators to enable DCO and OCO operations for Cyber Command in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a TS clearance and IAT II/II certifications, with hands-on experience in Linux/Windows, networking, and cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience (8+ years).
• Experience with joint event lifecycle (JETC) for training events.
• Experience with network hardware design, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Linux and Windows, networking protocols (HTTP/HTTPS/SSL/TLS/DNS).
• Experience with network access control lists and Cisco WAN/LAN tech.
• Experience with MS Active Directory and virtualization (VMware NSX-T).
• Experience with security monitoring platforms such as Splunk or Security Onion.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Active TS clearance and IAT II/II certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Plan operations in support of training, exercises, and integrated cyber operations.
• Provide network administration for development, deployment, and remediation of enterprise network environment.
• Support large-scale cyber exercises and multi-spectrum cyber operations (defensive and offensive).
• Collaborate with cyber operators to enable DCO and OCO for Cyber Command.
• Translate training goals into actionable environments for events.
• Design and execute cyber range training events.
• Provide expertise in architecture, virtual environments, networking, authentication, and system security.
• Coach and review work of junior staff.
• Drive continuous process improvement in training event activities.
• Engage with stakeholders on requirement changes affecting the training environment.
