Job summary

IDS International seeks a Computer Systems Engineer I to design, implement, and maintain complex cyber range environments, supporting training and operations. You will architect physical, virtual, and cloud networks, configure routing, firewalls, DNS, AD, VPNs, VLANs, and SANs, and deploy both bare metal and virtualized systems for mission needs.

The role requires automation experience with Ansible, Chef, FOG, Python, Bash, plus virtualization with VMware/KVM/Xen and Windows/Linux server

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Active DoD IAT II level security prerequisites.
Experience in configuring cyber range or computer test beds.
Experience designing networks including routing, switching, DNS, AD, VPNs, VLANs, SANs.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain cyber range and test bed environments.
Architect and support physical, virtual, and cloud network infrastructures.
Configure networking components: routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, AD, VPNs, VLANs, SANs.
Deploy and maintain bare metal and virtualized systems for missions.
Develop automation, imaging, orchestration, and config management solutions.
Utilize Ansible, Chef, FOG, Python, Bash for admin and deployment tasks.
Engineer and administer VMware, KVM, Xen virtualization platforms.
Maintain Windows and Linux server operating systems.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot network and systems issues.
Identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies in networks.
Support integration of camera, ICSS/SCADA, IoT and RF devices.
Collaborate with stakeholders for cyber training and testing objectives.
