Anticipated Salary Range: $78,205.00 - $120,000.00. The salary range is an estimate based on role location, expectations, and responsibilities. Factors such as education, experience, certifications, and skills are considered during offer extension. Additional non-recurrent compensation may be included.

Job Description

Enlighten seeks a Cyber Operations Training Instructor to develop curriculum and deliver training alongside data scientist teams. The candidate should have an engaging personality, responsiveness, and excellent teaching skills, with a background in cyber operations and analysis. The role involves travel up to 1-2 months annually to work with users/customers both CONUS and OCONUS. When not traveling, the position is hybrid with some on-site interaction.

#Mid-Senior Level

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Create engaging training materials in various formats including web-based training, videos, slides, guides, knowledge checks, and practical exercises.
• Conduct advanced cyber hunt, log analysis, intrusion investigation, and tool/platform usage training through lectures, demonstrations, and labs.
• Revise course materials to improve effectiveness.
• Build relationships with subject matter experts and industry professionals to stay current with trends.
• Collaborate with trainers and instructional designers to develop comprehensive programs.
• Mentor trainees on technical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Stay updated on emerging threats and vulnerabilities to deliver relevant training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship; Security Clearance: Will be processed for Secret level (not required on day 1).
• 10+ years relevant experience with Bachelor's, 8+ with Master's, or 14+ years with High School Diploma.
• Experience in classroom or small group technical training.
• Experience in cyber operations and analysis.
• Experience developing training curricula.
• Experience with IDS, IPS, and SIEM tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 1-2 months/year, sometimes on short notice, CONUS/OCONUS.
• Willing to work in a hybrid environment with some on-site meetings.

Preferred Requirements

• SQL experience.
• Experience optimizing learning content for various platforms, including distance learning.
• Experience creating Web-based Trainings.
• Background in Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies, and Cyber Security.
• Experience in Defensive Cyber Operations, NetOps, and IntelOps.
• Formal instructor certification preferred.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 certifications may be required.
• BDP experience is a plus.
