Job summary

Big Impact Tech (BIT) seeks a Policy & Technical Standards Analyst with a Secret clearance to draft and maintain cybersecurity directives, standards, and handbooks. You will track 48 standards annually, deliver quarterly updates, and manage the policy intake mailbox and help desk with rapid responses.

The role requires strong technical writing, understanding of NIST/FISMA directives, and experience with Zero Trust architecture. TSA clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, English, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience writing cybersecurity policy, standards, or procedures.
• Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, and federal cybersecurity directives.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture (e.g., NIST SP 800-207).
• Experience with SharePoint document management and version control.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and updates cybersecurity directives, technical standards, and handbooks.
• Supports Zero Trust policy drafting.
• Tracks 48 technical standards annually and delivers quarterly policy updates.
• Manages the policy intake mailbox and help desk, acknowledging inquiries within 1 hour.
• Maintains the Policy Master Schedule.
• Manages SharePoint document control and versioning.
• Other duties as assigned.
