Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions seeks a Penetration Tester to support CyberPRIMES cybersecurity and related enterprise missions in the DC area. The role requires active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship with a bachelor’s degree and several years of relevant experience.

Based in Alexandria, VA, you will perform government-grade testing, develop robust test plans, and collaborate with SOC and incident response teams to strengthen detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience.
• Must be U.S. Citizen.
• A Secret clearance is required when duties involve classified information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Government-selected penetration-testing assessments and threat-hunting exercises.
• Develop test plans, execute assessments, and prepare post-assessment reports.
• Coordinate with cyber-tool admins, SOC, and incident-response teams to validate detections.
