Job description

Peraton Cyber Operations Planner

Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Cyber Operations Planner for its Federal Strategic Cyber program.

Location: Onsite in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop plans to mitigate or defend against coordinated malicious cyber operations that threaten critical infrastructure or national interests.
  2. Create detailed plans for cyber operations in collaboration with other planners, operators, and analysts.
  3. Coordinate document reviews with internal and external partners, consolidate feedback, and prepare revised documents.
  4. Participate in interagency meetings by developing talking points, briefing materials, meeting notes, and summaries.
  5. Review project statuses, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
  6. Assess project issues and develop recommendations to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals.
  7. Develop mechanisms to monitor project progress, intervene, and resolve issues with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  8. Establish measures of effectiveness for cyber defense plans, analyzing current plans and past cyber incidents for lessons learned and best practices.
  9. Coordinate and facilitate internal and external partner engagements, exchange information, and respond to requests for assistance.
  10. Support program management functions related to compartmented intelligence programs.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies for cyber programs.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Operations theory, employment, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies.
  • Proven ability to develop corrective actions.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI clearance.

Additionally, the selected candidate must maintain a favorable adjudication of a DHS background investigation (EOD).

Preferred:

  • CISSP and/or PMP certifications are strongly encouraged.

Salary Range:

$86,000 - $138,000, based on experience and other factors.
