Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Cyber Tier 1 Deputy Team Lead to support the DHS NOSC under a highly visible single-award vehicle. Responsibilities include monitoring, threat detection, and analysis across 24x7 operations with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 4 years total professional experience; or an equivalent combination.
• Two or more areas listed: GenAI/Automation, Vulnerability Assessment, Intrusion Prevention and Detection, Access Control and Authorization, Policy Enforcement, Application Security, Protocol Analysis, Firewall Management, Incident Response, Encryption, Web-Filtering, Advanced Threat Protection.
• Active advanced cybersecurity certification(s) and TS/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding optimization to reduce onboarding time.
• Implement process improvements with Lean Six Sigma.
• Review and refine SOPs and workflows for efficiency.
• Collaborate with SOAR and other teams to enhance automation.
• Provide superior DHS customer service and act as point of contact for leaders.
• Oversee required training programs and tool access.
• Ensure shifts communicate and complete tasks across time zones.
• Conduct quality assurance on Splunk investigations and ECMs.
• Test and evaluate new tools in development environments.
