Job summary

RealmOne—a Columbia, MD-based cyber and analytics firm—seeks analysts to defend national security networks. The role focuses on exploiting, detecting, and protecting critical infrastructure, using logs and sensors to identify threats and develop mitigations.

Ideal candidates hold degrees in IT/engineering fields and have progressive experience, including security clearances. The team supports multiple contract modalities and exposes you to cutting-edge defense work.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience.
• Level 2: Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years, Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 2 years.
• Level 3: Associate's Degree with 10 years or Bachelor's with 8 years, Master's with 6, or PhD with 4.
• Level 4: Associate's Degree with 13 years or Bachelor's with 11 years, Master's with 9, or PhD with 7.
• 18 semester hours of military training/coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics is equivalent to an Associate's degree.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security)

Responsibilities

• Utilize information from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs to identify vulnerabilities and defend against threats.
• Develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect network infrastructure devices or systems.
• Support data transport methods including wired networks, wireless transport, video conferencing, and related hardware/software.
