The FBI is seeking qualified Special Agents to protect the nation against cyber-attacks, terrorism, fraud, and evolving threats. The role involves high-stakes investigations, interagency cooperation, and maintaining readiness to respond to national security challenges.

Candidates must meet extensive eligibility criteria, including citizenship, education, fitness, and clearance requirements, with opportunities to serve across FBI field offices in the United States.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Have a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Possess one year of full-time sworn law enforcement work experience with a degree, or two years of work experience with a degree and related advanced degree.
• Be eligible for Top-Secret SCI Clearance.
• Be able to legally possess/carry a firearm.
• Be at least 23 years old and under 37 at appointment (exceptions may apply).
• Meet FBI Employment Eligibility requirements.
• Pass the Physical Fitness Test.
• Meet medical requirements.
• Have a valid driver’s license with at least six months driving experience.
• Available for assignment to any FBI Field Office; travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in investigative tasks.
• Maintain liaison with federal, state, local, tribal, and international law enforcement agencies.
• Coordinate and participate in searches, seizures, and arrests.
• Carry a firearm and be willing to use force if necessary.
• Maintain physical fitness at readiness level for duty.
