Job summary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking highly qualified individuals to join as Special Agents. You will work to protect the nation from cyber-attacks, terrorism, fraud, and evolving threats through high-stakes investigations and strategic analysis. Applicants must meet stringent requirements, including U.S.

citizenship, education, and clearance eligibility. The role requires readiness for field assignments across 56 FBI offices and potential travel, with a base and locality pay

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen.
• Have a bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Be eligible for a Top-Secret SCI Clearance and meet FBI Employment Eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws.
• Exercise judgement and resourcefulness in investigative demands.
• Create and maintain liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial and international agencies.
• Coordinate and participate in searches, seizures, and arrests.
• Carry a firearm and be willing to use force if necessary.
• Maintain physical fitness to perform duties.
