Job summary

Gormat seeks an OCO Virtualization Product Manager to define the vision and roadmap for cyber mission systems with a focus on virtualization and containerization, in support of OCO. You will lead cross‑functional teams, refine the product backlog, and align with Joint Cyber Weapons stakeholders.

The role requires deep knowledge of vSphere, Kubernetes, and cloud services, plus strong leadership, communication, and Agile experience. TS/SCI with polygraph is likely required for this client.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in virtualization/containerization with relevant degree.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or similar Agile cert desirable.
• Experience with government/defense sector is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision/roadmap for virtualization platforms.
• Lead backlog refinement and translate requirements into actionable user stories.
• Collaborate with agile teams to drive PI execution and cross-team coordination.
• Engage with government stakeholders to align capability delivery.
• Develop concepts, roadmaps, test plans, and specs for virtualized/containerized apps.
• Partner with designers and engineers to deliver multi‑platform solutions.
• Mentor junior product managers and drive on-time delivery within budget.
• Maintain documentation and ensure customer-centric outcomes.
