Job summary

Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking a Virtualization Product Manager to join our Mission Services team in Columbia, MD. You will define the product vision and roadmap for cyber mission systems, focusing on virtualization and containerization to support OCO.

You will lead backlog refinement, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and engage government stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure virtualization solutions across multi-platform environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science or related field with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with government agencies or contractors in the intelligence or defense sectors.
• Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies such as vSphere and vCenter, with familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization concepts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with Agile methodologies and cloud services experience.
• Proven experience in building enterprise-grade products from concept to launch.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience owning and managing product roadmaps for virtualized and containerized platforms.
• Security clearance TS/SCI w/CI Poly is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership and define requirements, partnerships, and technology solutions for virtualized and containerized environments.
• Lead product backlog refinement; decompose features into actionable user stories.
• Coordinate with Release Train Engineers and Scrum Masters to drive program execution.
• Engage government stakeholders to align capability delivery for virtualization and containerization.
• Participate in TEMs and OCO forums related to virtualization.
• Develop product concepts, roadmaps, test plans, and specifications for virtualized applications.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to deliver multi-platform solutions.
• Lead engagements with partners and industry leaders; mentor junior staff.
