Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize AI/ML solutions for enhanced cybersecurity capabilities. You will collaborate with AI Engineers, Software Engineers, and Cyber Operators to deploy production-grade AI systems and apply cybersecurity expertise to ML opportunities.

The role requires experience in threat hunting, ML model development, and deploying models using Python, Bash, Docker, and Kubernetes, with knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cyber threat hunting and analysis across security logs, including endpoint and network data.
• 2+ years of experience exploring datasets, training ML models to perform inference for cyber investigations.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework, MISP threat sharing, or cyber intelligence platforms (including seQure).
• Experience packaging and deploying production-level models using Python, Bash, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, or data streaming technologies, including Kafka.
• Experience with SIEM technologies such as Splunk or ElasticSearch.
• Experience developing novel solutions for challenging problems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced team rapidly prototyping and iterating.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience exploring datasets, training machine learning models to perform inference, and utilizing the output to further cyber investigations
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework, MISP threat sharing, or cyber intelligence platforms, including seQure
• Experience packaging and deploying production-level models using Python, Bash, Docker, or Kubernetes

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
