Job summary

SAIC is seeking a self-motivated TS/SCI cleared individual to move into the IT/Cybersecurity workforce. The Cyber analyst/Help Desk/System Administrator will join a 20+ year program focused on continuous monitoring, patching, and user support, while aligning with government RMF policies.

Role may include training sessions and collaboration with senior team members and end users. Experience with cloud tech, scripting, and potential DoD IAT Level II certifications is desirable; AWS experience is a

Qualifications

• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (such as CompTIA A+ or Network+)
• Willingness to work with the Linux command line
• Comfortable documenting software issues and suggested enhancements
• Willingness to keep up to date with cloud technology and security updates
• Ability/desire to attain a DoD IAT Level II certification (such as CompTIA Security+)
• AWS Cloud experience a plus
• Scripting and/or programming experience a plus
• Service desk / customer service experience plus
• Cyber security experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain, validate, and perform continuous monitoring for the program
• Assist end users and developers; support patching and software updates
• Potentially run user training sessions and participate in testing
