Job summary

Jobtailor in Greenville, Texas seeks a seasoned cybersecurity professional to support DoD-aligned accreditation programs. You will manage RMF, vulnerability mitigation, and continuous monitoring across Windows and Linux environments while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires active TS clearance, a strong background with XACTA/EMASS/SNOW, and experience producing SSPs, SARs, and risk assessments for stakeholders and assessors.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years in Cyber; or Graduate Degree with 2+ years.
• In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of related cyber experience.
• Experience with accreditation systems: XACTA, EMASS, SNOW.
• Proficient with MS Word, Visio, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Knowledge of RMF, NIST, CNSSI, JSIG, DoD and customer directives.
• Experience with vulnerability management across Windows and Linux.
• Strong ability to communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Experience with XACTA and related tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit, document, and support accreditation of boundaries and networks under guidance.
• Update documentation for information systems within XACTA.
• Interpret vulnerability scans, define remediation plans, and track fixes.
• Prepare SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, risk assessments and artifacts.
• Implement RMF, NIST, CNSSI, JSIG, DoD directives.
• Execute Continuous Monitoring Plans.
• Support Security Test and Evaluation activities.
• Interface with system managers and IT to resolve vulnerabilities.
• Create and update cybersecurity documentation.
• Develop concepts or standards to improve processes and systems.
• Communicate cybersecurity risks and compliance status to stakeholders.
