Job summary

Amentum is seeking Senior Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Responsibilities include delivering timely threat intelligence on hostile actors affecting the U.S. energy sector, with leadership of analyst teams and expert knowledge in security frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years leading cyber intelligence or cyber defense operations.
  • Experience supporting DOE, DoD, Intelligence Community, or National Laboratories.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cyber investigations and analyst teams.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, MITRE ATT&CK, Zero Trust, cloud security, and OT/ICS security.
  • Experience preparing executive-level intelligence products and strategic cyber assessments.
  • CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or equivalent preferred.

Job description

Purpose and Impact

Amentum is seeking Senior Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Work Schedule

5 days, 8 hrs

Essential Responsibilities

Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • 10–15+ years leading cyber intelligence or cyber defense operations.
  • Experience supporting DOE, DoD, Intelligence Community, or National Laboratories.
  • Demonstrated leadership of cyber investigations and analyst teams.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, MITRE ATT&CK, Zero Trust, cloud security, and OT/ICS security.
  • Experience preparing executive-level intelligence products and strategic cyber assessments.
  • CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or equivalent preferred.
Security Clearance Required
  • Active TS/SCI or DOE Q

This position is not designated as a safety sensitive position.
