Job summary

Amentum is seeking Mid level Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Essential responsibilities include delivering timely threat intelligence on adversaries and criminal actors, supporting incident response, and briefing leadership. A TS/SCI or DOE Q clearance is required, with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years supporting DOE/DoD/Intelligence Community or federal cyber ops.
• Experience producing cyber threat intel and supporting investigations.
• Experience with malware analysis, threat hunting, or vulnerability assessments.

Amentum is seeking Mid level Cyber Intelligence Analysts to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area.

Work Schedule:

5 days, 8hrs

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.S. energy sector partners.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• 5–8 years supporting DOE, DoD, Intelligence Community, National Laboratory, or other federal cyber operations.
• Experience producing cyber threat intelligence and supporting incident response investigations.
• Experience with malware analysis, threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, or insider threat.
• Ability to brief technical and executive leadership.
• Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCIA, or equivalent certification.

Security Clearance Required:

• Active TS/SCI or DOE Q

The base salary range for this position is $116k to $170k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
