Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Colorado Springs seeks a Cyber Infrastructure Systems Engineer (System Administration) to support mission-critical systems in a secure environment. You will administer enterprise systems, manage secure AWS infrastructure, and enable CI/CD platform operations.

Experience with RHEL, AWS, platform engineering, and secure system administration is essential, with DoD RMF alignment and collaboration across DevSecOps and cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or graduate degree with 2+ years.
• Or 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Secret clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 2: CCNA-Security, Security+ CE, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for mission systems.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
• Collaborate with software, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams on infrastructure.
• Automate administration tasks with scripting and IaC where applicable.
• Utilize virtualization (KVM, VMware) and container platforms (OpenShift, Docker).
• Implement security controls aligning with RMF and DoD requirements.
