Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Sr Specialist, Cyber Intelligence – Systems Administrator to administer secure computing environments in Salt Lake City. The role demands hands-on system administration, cyber operations support, and RMF/DAAG compliance expertise.

The ideal candidate will manage performance, apply security controls, support accreditations, and coordinate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Strong system administration and cyber operations support experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support Windows and/or Linux systems in secure environments.
• Perform patch management, backups, and performance monitoring.
• Implement cybersecurity controls per government requirements.
• Support system hardening with STIGs and baselines.
• Assist with vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Support A&A efforts and RMF documentation.
• Collaborate with ISSMs, ISSOs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain system documentation and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot incidents and support recovery activities.
• Ensure operations in classified environment requirements.
