Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Security Operations professional to join the incident response and vulnerability management team in Denver. The role focuses on triaging threats, coordinating containment, and tracking incident remediation across apps, infra, and cloud environments.

You will work with SIEM/EDR tools, IAM monitoring, and ITSM processes, with on-call rotations and a hybrid work model to support flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an Information Security role with security operations exposure.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Analytical mindset, knowledge of attack frameworks and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform alert triage of security alerts to validate and prioritise incidents.
• Determine severity, impact, and root cause of incidents using MSSP and internal tools.
• Conduct initial triage and assessment of incidents to determine severity and impact.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and events per SLAs.
• Monitor IAM for abuse and policy violations; assist containment.
• Provide updates and handovers within the SOC and to escalation points.
• Lead end-to-end vulnerability remediation coordination with teams.
