Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced CTOC Incident Manager to oversee the Incident Management program and coordinate responses to cybersecurity incidents. You will lead the lifecycle from detection through recovery, working with internal teams, legal, and external partners to ensure rapid, compliant resolutions.

The role requires 3+ years in Incident Response or 5+ years in related cybersecurity, DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or 8140, and a commitment to continuous improvement and on-call

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity/IT or related field with 3+ years in IR/Sec Ops/DFIR or 5+ years in related cybersecurity
• 1+ year of leadership experience in operational environments
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or DoD 8140 compliant certification
• Must obtain Microsoft SC‑200 within (6) months of hire
• Experience with incident response processes, SOPs, Playbooks, and cyber investigative TTPs
• 2+ years of experience with technical report writing; strong professional and technical writing skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the incident response lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution
• Develop, maintain, and update incident response plans, playbooks, and procedures
• Serve as the primary point of contact during incidents with internal/external stakeholders
• Collaborate with Security, Networking/NOC, Engineering, Legal, and business units
• Oversee continuous monitoring of security systems to detect threats
• Lead in-depth threat analyses to identify root causes and attack methods
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
• Provide ongoing training to SOC staff on incident response
• Identify opportunities to automate incident response processes
