Job summary

Charles River Associates is seeking a Consulting Associate to join the Cyber Incident Response & eDiscovery team in Chicago, Boston, Washington, DC, or New York. The role supports high-profile cyber incident response matters, data breach investigations, and complex eDiscovery engagements, working with attorneys, clients, and experienced consultants to transform data into actionable insights.

You will process large datasets with CRA's eDiscovery tools, identify sensitive information, and report

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in eDiscovery, cyber incident response, or related fields.
• Experience administering Relativity workspaces and using analytics features.
• Experience managing document production workflows and QC procedures.
• Experience processing data with Nuix or Relativity platforms.
• Strong analytical skills handling large datasets and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.
• Awareness of privacy regulations and data protection concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support cyber incident response and data breach investigations.
• Process, organize, and analyze large datasets using eDiscovery tools.
• Identify PII/PHI and other sensitive data during reviews.
• Manage review databases: loading, configuration, user management, reporting.
• Perform quality control to ensure deliverables accuracy.
• Prepare client updates and reports for senior consultants.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Contribute to firm initiatives like recruiting and training.
