Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in network/cybersecurity engineering.

Job description

An active Top Secret / SCI clearance is required for consideration for hire for this role. Work is to be performed 100% onsite with our Government Customer in either Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO


Responsibilities:


  1. Build, deploy, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based cybersecurity infrastructure and applications running on Windows and Linux operating systems.
  2. Engineer and implement cybersecurity solutions leveraging cloud services such as EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and RDS. Provision AMIs, perform software installations, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  3. Assist with research and implementation of enterprise-wide cybersecurity solutions to support customer goals.
  4. Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to enhance performance and industry standards.
  5. Provide detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools to meet business needs.
  6. Represent customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies.
  7. Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and a capabilities roadmap.
  8. Assist with testing plans and documentation for network configuration upgrades for customer approval.
  9. May serve as a team or task lead.
  10. Coordinate with stakeholders and assessors for security assessments and authorizations.

Qualifications:

Required:

  1. Expertise in areas such as NDR, EDR, NGFWs, IDS/IPS, F5 platforms, email/web security gateways, with working knowledge of others.
  2. Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security principles, compute, storage, and transport.
  3. Expertise in Windows and Linux servers.
  4. Excellent communication skills for technical and executive presentations.
  5. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  6. 6+ years of related experience in network/cybersecurity engineering, especially in large-scale enterprise or DoD environments.
  7. Experience in modernizing complex cybersecurity systems.
  8. Must have TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph.
  9. Certified under DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M as an IAT Level III and IASAE Level II.
