Job Description

Grant Thornton's Cybersecurity practice helps organizations integrate cybersecurity strategies into their overall business plans. We assist clients in identifying cyber risks, designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions, and responding to cyber incidents. As part of our Cybersecurity team, you will collaborate with clients on technical consulting across threat protection, data security, security engineering, and incident response. The Manager role is an excellent opportunity to showcase your technical expertise while expanding your business and project management skills. Responsibilities include conducting cybersecurity assessments, designing threat protection solutions, managing client engagements, supervising colleagues, and supporting practice growth through business development.

Your day-to-day may include:
  • Assessing current identity and access management practices.
  • Developing requirements for Entra ID solutions.
  • Designing technical architecture for Entra ID, including system integration.
  • Planning migration strategies from Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) to Entra ID.
  • Configuring and integrating Entra ID with various systems using ECMA, API-driven provisioning, and Entra Application Proxy.
  • Implementing security measures such as Zero Trust and Conditional Access policies.
  • Engaging with stakeholders through workshops and meetings.
  • Documenting solutions, processes, and transition plans.
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams to achieve objectives.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships to exceed expectations.
  • Upholding professional standards and confidentiality.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in consulting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security (AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400).
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID features and functionalities.
  • Experience with IAM solutions, including user provisioning, role management, and access control.
  • Proficiency in integrating Entra ID with various systems using ECMA and API-driven methods.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, device security, and Conditional Access policies.
  • Ability to design technical architecture and user workflows.
  • Skills in assessing applications and developing transition strategies.
  • Strong project management and client service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to travel as needed.
Salary Range:

Chicago, IL: $144,000 - $216,000
New York, NY: $155,500 - $233,300
